Configure an event From the dashboard, create an event with: title, description, location (Google Maps autocomplete), date + time, time zone, capacity, visibility (public / unlisted), optional banner image. Optional: add up to 10 custom fields to the registration form (5 types available, scope "for the group" or "for each person"), and a free-text note included in the confirmation email (500 characters, server-side link rejection — anti-phishing). ## 3. Share the registration link Each event publishes a public page at `/events/` with a registration form. Shareable URL on social media, email, flyers. The form supports group registration (up to 10 people in one submission: 1 leader + 9 additional). ## 4. Receive registrations Participants get a confirmation email with a unique QR-code. Real-time attendee list on the organiser side + CSV export (including custom field answers). ## 5. Validate at the door On event day, scan QR-codes from any smartphone (web interface, no app to install). Offline mode supported for venues without Wi-Fi (manifest pre-loading). ## 6. JustOneEvent acts as a data processor in the GDPR sense. When enabling custom fields on the registration form, the organiser becomes the data controller for that data: minimisation, no Article 9 GDPR data (health, opinions, sexual orientation, etc.), purpose disclosure, rights handling — for both "for the group" and "for each person" scopes. On a group registration, these obligations cover ALL registrants, not just the leader. The content of the free-text note in the confirmation email (500 characters max) is also the organiser's responsibility — server-side URL rejection for anti-phishing. ## Platform commitment Best-effort availability, no contractual SLA on Free / Premium; 99.5% monthly commitment for Pro / Business. ## Cancellation At any time from the dashboard. Data retained for 30 days then purged.
